This modernized stone house is comprised of:

A well appointed lounge, a sun lounge, kitchen/dining area, bedroom with twin beds and a shower room are on the ground floor.
A bathroom and two bedrooms are upstairs - one with twin beds and the other a king sized bed.
The home sleeps up to 6 and is well equipped to high standards with washing machine, drying machine, dishwasher, microwave, colour TV, VCR and DVD player.
Downstairs shower room consists of shower, wc and basin.
Upstairs bathroom consists of tub, wc and basin.

Situated in the center of the picturesque village of Portsoy with a 17th century harbour on the beautiful Moray Firth midway between Aberdeen and Inverness, the house is on the square about 200 yards from the main A98 road. The location is an ideal base for golf, country and coastal walks and the famous castle and whisky trails.

Gilliebank is a modernized stone house located on the square in Portsoy, Scotland. The house was built in 1872 by Mr. Minty. It is owned by Roger & Paddy Smeds who live in South Florida, USA. We make our Scottish getaway available for a few weeks of the year when we are not in residence.
